Angry broken True-Trac

I was slumming over at CT this morning and found a thread where a member was reporting how his TT had broken the casting lip that retains the worms outside end. Supposed to be retained by bolts and that rim.

Bad news, but so far the only failure I've heard of.

I'm not all that well-versed on rear ends/diffs, that wouldn't have anything to do with installation of the TT?

Bad news indeed for the titan owner, but I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.....only problem or complaint I've ever heard about TT, ever.

not to mention his pockets run very deep! he's gone thru like 3 steering racks too. why he continues to drive his titan like a trophy-truck thru the desert is beyond me, but he continually keeps buying replacement parts and PRG says he's got deep pockets.

I don't know who did the install. I don't know enough of the construction of the TT to hazard a guess.
