So, spending $350 + to have the Jatco power-flushed at the dealer is basically a scam. In an earlier thread some of you advised against the power flush, but I've been putting off even a pan drain and fill, and feeling guilty as hell about it too. I still might drain and fill at some point, but I think some are doing a power flush every 30K miles, or at least plan to. Not doing this can save them over $1000 every 100K miles. |

Wow that was a good read. I am not sure what to do now. I was quoted $318 on sale for a tranny flush and fill. That is about $200 more than I wanted to spend. I personaly do not want to do a drop and fill myself. So what are my options now. I am at 35k miles? I want the truck to remain under the 60k mile powertrain warranty. Any ideas?
