surprising poor gas mileage pulling
i pulled first time yesturday to maple grove raceway from ct with my 06 titan...my trailer is all aluminum(enclosed) weighing in at 6500 with my 3400lb malibu...
pulls the trailer like nothing...i forgot it was back there lol... cant understand the truck was towing with no effort at all and averaged 8.6 mpg..

I have an enclosed trailer also and mileage for me is dependent more on speed than weight. An enclosed or travel trailer is a large sail to tow and I have observed that towing at 60 vs 80 can be up to 3mpg depending on winds.
How fast were you traveling?
