Boat Towing 101

1. Always make sure your boat is secured to the trailer.

2. Avoid traffice poles.

3. Keep a change of clean shorts in the glove.

4. If you already failed steps 1 an 2 never post the pictures on the internet.

Pretty radical way to load a boat. Still, it does eliminate the need for a trailer to tow it.

sheesh.....had to be a cell phone-induced incident or wifey driving while applying make-up.........some type of driver error as there is no traffic around, roads aren't wet, etc

Here are two more pics of why you should at every gas/bathroom stop make sure your trailer and boat are secured. The wife hates me for this habit because I check and double check everything before I take her dog out for a bathroom break. The story behind these pics is that the trailer seperated from the hitchball or pintle hook(not sure of exact setup) and only one saftey chain attached.

This makes a good case for using a locking device to lock the release lever on the hitch. That way gremlins are less likely to tamper with the connection when your back is turned.

good thing I have a local, PolarBear, to learn from if he ever decides to come out from hiding, hehe

If I were a Polarbear, living in San Diego, I'd be hiding too. In the nearest deep freezer!!
