Hey Miz, long time no hear....

End of camping season? It's getting started here depending if your pulling a toy hauler. It's Desert Season!

Anyways, so how's the Durango treating you? My brother just got on too. He's pulling a Surveyor, I don't know the size but he said it pulls great.

I can't stand the way the big three put down anything that's not a diesel. They'll even attack someone driving an F150 or any 1/2 ton and shouldn't pull anything that's over 24'. They're also the most bigoted bunch of bone heads! When people bring up a Titan and Tundra they start spouting how we beat the "Japs" in WW 2 and the "Japs" attacked us at Pearl Harbor and shouldn't buy anything from them. Can't believe the moderators let them attack people that way. According to them the Titan and Tundra are good for nothing but a pop up.

OK...I'm done and feel better.
Arrogant and ignorant attitudes like that are just one of the reasons that "furrin" vehicles have been able to steal market share from the "Big Three" . I try to stay from people like the ones you mentioned. What they have is fatal and might be contagious.

Actually Ol'Coot, when I started quoting actual facts and figures at them and then resurrected the problems the Big 3 had with their early model year trucks, they fell silent...

Gee, what do you suppose caused that? The fact that I "stayed away" or crammed facts down their throat?

The "Silent Majority" never wins a debate!

Did you guys see the last thread about Titan called "Nissan Titan." Funny, the second guy cut it down as usual and the following post attack the 2nd guy. I was weird, a lot of guys that owned one of the big three saying it was a pretty good truck?

I have had a few trucks. And it is true I will Never go back to a gas truck agian however, I had a 99 Dakota it had the 318 in it and for what that truck was rated to pull 9200 lbs i belive off hand. It pulled Awesome and still made 10 mpg pulling, Ironically it Was rated the same as my Friends 2000 F-250 SD with the 5.4 triton.

If you buy a truck: Know what you need and what the truck will need to do. I dont think you will be disapointed no matter who the manufacturer is.
