Come to think of it, Polar Bear, you are right. When I was in South America, I saw quite a few of that type of van. Most were diesel powered too. Hmmmmmm. Would I own one? Don't bet on it.

Back in 1977, CocaCola gave away several Ford vans that had been customized by a company called "Good Times Machines" ..... my parents next door neihbors won one of them ...... bright orange shag carpet, bed, refridgerator .... 8-track quadraphonic stereo system ....fat tires, wide mags and running boards with fender flares ....side pipes ....and psycho-delic paint ...... they had it for many years and took very good care of it .....I was 14 yrs. old and thought it was the coolest thing in the whole wide World.
