so is the assumption to be that the diesel company that Nissan has chosen to go with recommends Nissan to use a frame from a company they're currently supplying engines to? say a Dodge 3500 frame being used for the HD Titan if Cummins is the supplier or a Chevy 2500 Duramax frame if Isuzu is the diesel supplier?

I saw it as sharing various bits and pieces between different divisions of the same corporation. Chevy using Caddy stuff, Dodge using Mercedes, etc, etc
