Anybody else use this?
Getting ready to buy this (I think) and was wondering if anybody else had one or something similar that may be better.
 Netgear EVA8000 EVA8000 HD I looked at the Apple TV too, but I think it may be too restrictive. I have tons of purchased iTunes files and all my music is currently m4a or m4b meaning without a whole lot of hassle I can't use an XBOX or other media streaming box unless it supports copyrighted material. I also want to be able to view my pics too, so a music-only one won't work. Anywhoo, just wondering if anyone else had any input on it.

A few years ago I tried this type of setup with Tivo (Tivo to Tivo) using a router and I was very disappointed so I decided to wait a while to try it again.
Today I do use my Xbox 360 online wireless with a wrt350n and I also view pics from my laptop and Wow!! Things sure have changed. Anyway here's a cool review with video that I'm going to check out when I get home this morning about the EVA to see if it's time to try again. I've heard good things about the slingbox, but I'm not sure if it's really the same thing or not. I kinda gave up on doing anything with digital video a few years ago.... it was too hard to get everything working just right and I didn't have the time to spend on it.

For you Xbox 360 owners. Microsoft has announced that they have extended the warranty to three years from date of purchase to fix any unit that suffers system failure. Retroactive to previous units as well.

I almost bit on the xbox, but a couple of reviews I read said there was no way to organize pics into albums and the like...it just showed all files at one time and you had to sort through them. Any truth to that? Also, if I could be 100% assured of compatibility with m4a files, it would make my decision a little easier. I dunno.....

The XBOX 360 just shows the pictures you have on your computer. Let me play with it tomorrow and I'll get back to you on the m4a files.
