hmmm, I don't think I'd like that feeling too much.... Do they come equipped with chutes, or do you have one on your back when riding on those things?

Nope... there was no chute.... I ask the pilot about safety and weight limits and he responded the heavier the better. As for chutes he said its a hangglider with an engine. So it will glide for along time and he would take it out low over the water and we could jump off??????

I want to take a ride in sailplane, you know those sleek gliders with lonnnng wings.

There is a field near Arlington, WA that takes people up for a ride, for $$$ of course.

Hmm, maybe that one was, but I remember a number of years ago we had a rash of ultra-light crashes around here. One guy was killed.

You only live once. I was alittle scared at firstbut I had an opurtunity and I seized it. The pilot told me he ahd been flying for about a year...Hmmm... Once in the air you forget about the dangers and just look at the beauty of the land. Im sure its dangerous but so is taking a shower. You might slip on the soap?...LOL It really was a good time and I would do it again.
