Cad programs for Free. 2007

It's that time of year that Squid comes out with his free Cad program picks.

If you've ever thought of designing your dream house, room, or garden/yard these things are priceless and the cool thing is they are free.

Sketchup 6

This one really is easy to use and if you've never played with Cad before get this one first.
It has a great manual and both self paced and Video tutorials. http://sketchup.google.com/sptutorials.html

Alibre

This is more complicated but it's also more powerful and has a great tutorial and a forum.
I lucked out when the company first started and I got the full version for free last year.

Good luck with all your designs. (If anyone is interested in pay software I also have a list of some of them I think are pretty cool)
