First Ever Hydrogen 500 race in 2009

The Hydrogen Electric Racing Federation was formed on Wednesday to promote a new racing series. In this series of racing, the vehicles will be powered by electricity derived from hydrogen. Won't be long now.

So that means fuel cells then. Unless they choose to run a hydrogen fueled gas turbine driving a generator. That sounds way too complex to me.
