Level Kits

Hi All,
I have a suspension question, I did not find in the search engine.
we know that all Titans come with a nose dive in the front, and they sell a leveling kit, that you can buy via web, or most 4x4 stores. SO here is my question, I have the 4x4 full off road package, the BUTT already sticks up in the air at least 6" way higher than a standard Titan. I really do not think the level kit will do me any good.....your thoughts please.

Part 2 of the same question, I was told if a level kit was installed that you loose some travel, and if doing any serious off road, that some part of the suspension will bottom out on the frame. any truth to that??

At this point I can not afford a lift...BUT I HATE the large nose dive look.

I'm confused about what your asking.

PRG sells a 2" leveling kit for 4x4's. The rake of the truck is just about 2" give or take, not 6" like your saying.

The PRG spacer bolts directly to the top of the coilover, there's no loss of travel.

Stay away from the daystar kit. It'll blow out your coilovers within a few months.

yeah steve's right, the level kit will do you good, 6" in rear is a bit exagerrated, you might still have a slight rake w/the leveling kit for the 4wd but will look much better....

Thanks , okay perhaps a bit of exagerrating.... But she looks just as high as a 6 " lift in the rear..I will try and post a picture later, it really sticks up there....................okay I have my camera on the lowest setting on pixels and it it still too big for this site. Hmmm. My camera works great on others, not sure if I can get any lower than 1mp.
Any who...here is the measurement of the tire to the bottom of the wheel well. Front is 5 inches, and the rear is 8 1/2 inches. I hope this helps give you a better Idea of what I am looking at.

You could do an PRG 2" spacer in the front, and add the total chaos shackles in the rear, which will drop the rear end about 3/4" of an inch, however I think that would point your nose in the air.

The leveling kit really does just that. It levels the truck.

To resize your photos you can use a site like http://imageshack.us or http://www.photobucket.com

You can get PRG products from Greg http://www.prgproducts.com/?

Your best shot is to review the materials on his website, get an idea of where you want to be, and call him around 8am PST.

I'll just stress again, that for best results you should actually call Greg and talk to him about what you're looking for.

Also, you can usually find one of the leveling kits for sale at one of the forums if you keep an eye out.... Used they go for about $100. Greg might even have a used set in stock too...

Or use Microsoft photo editor it comes with windows and all you have to do is select image and then resize. If you'll make the top # 900 pixels it'll work.

Also make sure the picture is JPEG because I have that set to allow a 2Meg pic which is huge.
