You can start with just the PRG spacers (aka leveling kit) on the front which will remove the rake.... then move on from there as you see fit.

You can safely add 1" to the rear on the stock shocks (PRG Mini lift kit) but for anything taller than that you'll need longer rear shocks.

I hear ya, that's why I'm stilling running all stock suspension parts after 97,000 miles. The ride may be a little rougher but if you'll evenly distribute that $2K between each rear pocket it does tend to cushion the ride a bit.

A level kit looks good, and a basic $1300 drop bracket 6" lift "looks" good. But to get near the quality of ride and off road ability of the 4" performance you would pay over $5000 on a bracket lift, since you need similar Race quality 2.5" diameter coilovers, etc., and with a 6" lift, new rims with 35" tires.

So for a performance suspension $2000 is a good deal, (part of the savings is being able to keep stock rims, and stock 33" tires, and have it look o.k. With 6" of lift, stock rims and tires don't cut it.

d@mn good summary there, swarren.........couple hundred bucks for the truck to look good 'n leveled is ok, but for a couple more inches + bada$$ suspension components for a couple grand is worth it if you're in it for more than looks...........

a level kit, and get some nice big tires and wheels... then you'll be happy you spent the money on the kit. advice: don't buy 35's if you plan on getting level kit. of course, you'll want to spend some cash on some tires and nice wheels.

ProRYDE Lift/Leveling Kits

I'm the guy making the new ProRYDE line of adjustable front lift/leveling kits. Check us out at ProRYDE Suspension Systems Lift Kits for Trucks & SUV's. Featuring Duck Head Torsion Bar Keys, LIFTmachine Upper Strut Lift Kits & liftALIGN Alignment Solutions.. Our kits are the only ones you can install and ADJUST on-the-truck. These kits bolt on to the upper strut, and don't preload your springs. Low position for a 2" front lift, to level your Titan, or can be ADJUSTED to 3" of front lift. Put a 1" leaf block in the rear, and you've just lifted your whole truck for under $400. I'd love to get some feedback from you!
