The official Texas meet thread

Please read completely.
Ok after much planning & a couple of oopses we are going to have the Texas meet. I have got to have the most understanding & resourcefull fiance out there. I screwed up & waited too long to get the pavilloin across the road from the camping area. Robyn managed to find us another place to have the major Sat meet. This will be explained later.

The dates are starting Friday May ,15 till Sunday May ,17 2009.The camping is going to be at Cedar Ridge park in ,Belton Tx. There are 10 camper spots & 20 tent camping spots in this area.
We will have our own bath & shower seperated from the rest of the campers along with a large pavilion,water and elect.
The Camper Spots are going to be $30.00 for the weekend & the tent campers will be $20.00 for the weekend. You must pay before I will put you on the list. This will be nonrefundable. You can pay thru pay pal. PM me for my paypal account. If you have to back out after paying then you can sell your spot to someone else. You can get a camping spot outside of the turkey roost area,but still in the same park. Most of these spots go for about $36.00 for the weekend. If you want to do that then do it soon because spots are disapearing dailey.
It will be bring you own food,and ice chest. There are 2 charcoal BBQ pits in the turkey roost area. You might want to bring a small pit of your own or plenty of charcoal for the big pits.
Now since I screwed up & didnt get the pavillions across from the camp site. We had to find another place for the hugh Saturday meet.
This will be held at BLORA which is about a 30 min drive from the camp site. We will caravn from the camp site to the meet Sat. morning. For those of you staying in town you can either meet us at the gate or go straight to Blora. We will be leaving the camp site about 9:30 am. This is on the Forthood military base so there are a few rules.( to be explained later) The meet will be at the Pecan shelter. There is a $8.00 gate fee there. That will be collected at the gate. You will have access to water slides, volley ball courts, paddle boats, & many other fun things along with the lake that is just a short hike away. Please bring you own food, drink & chairs. We will have many games to play for the adults & kids. Bring some extra money for the raffles & some of the other activities there at Blora. The park opens at 10:00 am & close at 8:00 PM. Games & raffles to begin after lunch.
Rules are very simple No glass bottles, No open fires, NO DRUGS, & please clean up behind yourself & kids. Since this is a family event Please watch your language.
After the meet breaks up & we clean up then we will caravan back to the camp site.
Please let me know how many kids & adults will be coming with you & the kids ages. That way we can set up the age appropriate games.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there. Lets make this the biggest meet in the country.
If you want to bring pics from past titan meet so we can put them up on a hugh board for everyone to see all our friends past and present.

I have made arangments with River Forest Inn for a group rate of $45.00 a night for a king bed or 2 double beds. When you make the reservation just tell them you are with Jodys group.
