Well my retarded sister-in-law (whom get's whatever she wants and takes whatever she wants from her Mom & Dad.) managed to loose her dad's keys. She claimed that the dog ate them. I told her that she was going to have to follow the dog around until he crapped them out. He's got an 04 SE CC 4x4 and she said that it was the black key. Well I've told my father-in-law that he'll more than likely have to go to the parts dept. and order a new key since it's chipped and encrypted to work with the truck. He says thats BS and that he can run down to the local hardware store and have a key cut off his valet key. I am right in this assumption, right?

I don't know about the hardware store but I have seen a locksmith advertising that they can do it and they will come to you.
