First Problem w/the Titan

I have just noticed the first real problem on the 05 Titan. Here in the Southwest, the sun, as you can imagine, is fierce. I have just noticed that 2 spots on the upper front edge, of the roof, just above the windshield, are showing sun damage on the paint. Does anyone know what can be done to stop further damage? For that matter, is there anything I can do to minimize the appearance of the damage that is already done?

Where you have problems with sun damage there, here in the Pacific Northwest, we have problems with mold; ha ha.

Do they make wax formulations with sunscreen? Perhaps a truck-cover?

I don't know what kinda sun damage you have but, I wax the top of my truck (roof & hood) more often then the rest of the truck to keep my sun damage to a minimum. Living in Phoenix has taken its toll on the top of my truck too.. As far as I know, the only things you can do is keep her waxed or hit it with a buffer & rubbing compound from time to time.

Might try clay bar? They now sell it at Walmart.

Sorry for the late response.... Tried using some Maguires mag and aluminum wheel compound. I've had very good luck with it on light scratches and swirls. It got some of it, but had to go and get some rubbing compound. According to the directions, I have to wait until a cool part of the day, (early morning). This should do the trick, followed by a couple of coats of Ice
