a couple issues.. could use some of your expertise!

ok so i got my Titan used about 2 months ago or so and have a couple issues i wanted to see if any of you have had the same thing or know what it could be before i either a)tear into it for something that's not wrong with it. or b)take it to the dealership and have to pay for someone else to troubleshoot it. ok so here's the 2 issues:

1-a/c and heater vents..... when i turn on the a/c or heater, even up to full blast, i can hear that the a/c and heater unit is working and it sounds like a heater or a/c on full blast, gets warm/cold like one on full blast (takes a little longer though) but the issue i have is i can BARELY feel any air blowing out of the vents even when it's on full blast. any ideas before i tear into the dash?

2-i have a squealing/grinding type sound coming from the rear wheel area... at first i thought it was the brakes but i looked at them while still on the car and there is still quite a bit of brake pads left. also, what confuses me about it is that it squeals/grinds when i go straight and when i turn right but it STOPS WHEN I TURN LEFT..... any thoughts or troubleshooting steps would be awesome so i don't have to pay someone else to look at it. thanks guys!! i might be able to get a video of the noise but it might take a little while to get it.

and so it's a little more clear, it's more of a metal/metal rubbing than a squealing sound...

I don't have a clue about item 1.

It sounds like when you turn left, you are either relieving pressure on the left rear wheel which stops the noise. OR, adding additional pressure on the right rear wheel stops the noise.

I suggest jacking up the rear wheels one at a time, rotate the tires by hand to see if you can source the noise. If that doesn't do it, remove the wheel and do a real detailed exam of the drum, brakes and axle. Remember that the rear disk has a drum brake assembly on the reverse side for the emergency brake. Check those linings as well as the disk pads.

Also, check the differential to see that it has adequate gear lube and that there aren't significant metal particles in the oil or housing.

Good luck.

alright i'll do that and see what i come up with.. for #1, it almost seems like the tubing isn't matched up somewhere so the air isn't getting circulated all the way through and is escaping through somewhere else... idk we'll see
