Question Spark Plug Replacement?

Forgive my stupidity......

I'm looking to change out the plugs in the Titan since the OEM's have around 106k miles on them. Any suggestions on replacement plugs? And what does the plug gap need to be? Last time I changed spark plugs in a vehicle was on my 84 Jeep CJ-7 Laredo. And that consisted of removing plug wires and taking out the old and in with the new. I haven't done much DYI on the Titan, and not an ASE certified mechanic. I have changed out the brake pads and resetting the ECU, Throttle Learning Postion and etc... Is there a write up on this procedure? I'm pretty sure that quite a bit has changed since a 1984 Jeep to a 2004 Nissan Titan. Any help or input will be appreciated as always.

I've not done it myself either. Still, little has changed as far as process is concerned other than the type of plug boot, etc. The Titan uses coils at the plugs, one for each. Old school was one coil and a distributor that parceled the spark out to each plug in firing order.

The plug is buried deeper down in the valve cover/head because it is centrally located so the boot is longer. They make a tool, and you should be able to locate one at a parts store that reaches down to the bottom of the boot and pulls there. This eliminates the strain on the boot.

I don't know plug type, but it should be listed in the owner's manual or service manual. I'll look and see if I can find it. I'd suggest replacing with the same plug brand and heat range if you haven't had any problems in over a 100K miles.

I'm going to just put the OEM back in the Queens Titan since you can't beat 117,000 miles and here's all the info on the Nissan Titan spark plug change.
