Update for today, something is still preventing it from engaging although they are not sure if it is a solenoid or something more serious. Guess everyone was right, I should have bought the Tundra or the Ford because those have no problems.

Lol, glad you knew I was sarcastic, they just have the front in, the rears are on back order for quite some time.(least that was what I was told) But yeah, you got it, 4x4 is still gone. They definitely would be in more of a hurry if they saw what I was doing to their Altima.

Okay, there seems to be a fairly common problem with the whole axle thing, suprise suprise, and Nissan just released the updated part yesterday, so they said 2-3 days for that to arrive and then take it from there. I can get the new part number if anyone needs it.

Truck is back, new T-case, Front axles, and diff. All because of some pain a clip holding the front axle in place is a pos. Rear is on back order for a while, but that will be here soon. Hopefully the new rears will stand up to uprev, ha ha.

After watching that video I don't think these things like to go 4 wheeling in reverse. Mine did the very same thing trying to pull a small vine out by the roots in reverse. Very first time I had it in low range.

Yup, no strength to IFS 4x4's and if you'll look you'll see why. But for ride comfort you can't beat it so my advice is go buy a 1 ton solid axle 4x4 like I did and have the best of both worlds.
