More PRG news

I read elsewhere that PRG is now offering Bilstien shock upgrades for the front...
$89 each with free shipping... $119 each with shipping assembled with the spring already and a $25 core fee.

I'll be doing this later in the summer!

At $238 a pair, plus core deposit, every single stock Titan should do this, unless they are going to his higher price stuff within a couple of months. They will also retain resell value with the Bilstein name. I'm surprised there isn't more chatter about these at the other sites.

Agreed. I really can't wait. I just want to find out from Greg if there's any advantage to swapping the OEM spring out for something else....

i'm not surprised at all to be honest with you, although this is the perfect solution for those like TexasTitan05 and others that experience clunking due to failed OEM struts or simply just want slightly better dampening over pathetic OEM crap!

I think there might be different springs for O.R. vs. non O.R. coilovers too.

I am surprised because I've read so many posts over the years where people were waiting for the Bilsteins, and even when the 2" diameter body, lower cost, Radflo's came out, so many felt that their price was insanely high. That's why so many people still buy things like the relatively crappy Rancho 9000s.

I just posted to a "front shock" thread in TT's General section with a link to Greg's post in Suspension forum, since many members never even go there. Maybe it will help some noob out, and Greg too.

I was under the impression that the only difference was the rancho shocks.... maybe I'll try to give Greg a call this week.

with as many PRG cards i hand out, place on titans, etc. greg's lucky to get 1% of them to actually buy anything or upgrade. doesn't suprise me anymore titan owners content with the crappy performance of the OEM shat, considering they probably upgraded from a ford or chebby...

this really is a perfect solution, I rode around clunking much longer than I would've like to waaaay back when because there wasn't anything out then but the higher-priced coilovers, that I had to save up for.........this is perfect for a simple stock upgrade.

good point 'bout the resell value, swarren, it would definitely help!
