I would love to get a full rebuild. Unfortunately, I cant afford it. While I am here, I am dumping all extra funds into it since I have no need for money here.
I am talking with a killer Lincoln forum and getting advice from them.
Ive seen lots of the "overhauls" just being the top half with timing bits replaced.
Ive only got 90K on it so it should last alot longer.
I am going to put electrtonic ignition and possibly an aftermarket Carb.
They have been reporting much better performance from the new ignition.

Well Shifty, the wife and I were going to eat at Carrabas (Great Italian restaurant to eat at.) last night, and loe & behold look what was parked behind me in the parking deck. All original, near mint condition. Had a personalized Alabama tag on the back that read: 69 Lincoln. One huge, sweet, bad@ss car. Looking forward to your finished product.

Im looking forward to it also. I cant stoip thinking about it. Mostly because I cant look at it and see if my ideas for it will work.
Im hoping to get it to the mechanic in the next few weeks. From there, I will know the next step.
I just hope it doesnt cost me an arm and a leg to get it on the road.

Now what's the odds of that? I keep looking hoping I'll see one while I'm out and about. This part of the country seems to be Ford/Lincoln country.

^ Got airbags? Those are some phat @zz white walls. So I assume you decided to go with the Gangsta look. Black and some bling-bing rims. I think it would look good. I don;t know what it is about the Continental, but I love the body lines.
