And cost more than the Queens House. But I like it because unlike the Buses that looks like it's made to actually go somewhere non paved.

I have seen those before. They look tough as hell and would probly go anywhere. Built on a Ford 550 chassis with a 7.3L diesel.

I like it! Wonder if you can con them into installing a Cummins 6 instead of the International V-8? Would love to have the opportunity to try one out!

Back in the mid 70's, my folks got into the camping thing .... it started out with a tent .... then a bigger tent ....then multiple tents .... then a "Scamp" .... which was a 12' travel trailer that looked like a port-a-can on wheels along with tents for us kids..... then a camper mounted on a '74 1 ton Ford duellie chassis .... and the Scamp ..... then a 1980 Mini-Winnie which is a short motor home ..... then a large motor home on a Chevy chassis with a 454 .... and now they have a huge fiberglass bus motorhome that's really more like a rolling 5 star hotel .... having grown up experiencing all of that, there is no way I'd spend that kind of money and get stuck with that crappy little bathroom ..... but I am impressed with how nice slide-in campers have become ..... on a little side note, Terry Moore lost his virginity in my parents Scamp.

Super RV

While the Pickup truck based camper is nice, I prefer this larger unit. Now this is a man's camper without all the fancy drapes and bed spreads so common in RV's:

Part one.

Here are some more photos of this great camper:

I think I'd be very happy in this unit!
