Sema

We'll, I haven't been around much, and my truck is in the shop more than I drive it. For all the aftermarket failures, nothing wrong with the truck mechanicly. But I'm off to the SEMA show in Vegas and will snap a few pics. for you fellas. Let's see if there is anything new on the Titan or is it going to be a Tundrafest like last year. Maybe I'll get to see the new Dodge Ram/Titan with it all fixed up hehe. We'll take care....

yeah, it was a custom done by I believe Mothers Polish, I forgot who actually built it. Another crazy show. There were alot of Dodge Challengers, a few new and old Camaros, Some new Ford Flex and not alot of crazy trucks this year. The new Dodge Ram looked awesome, I'm really liking this thing. I wonder what Chevy, Ford and Chrysler are going to do?

Cool pics. I wonder if the 2500 and 3500 Rams will have the same interior as the 1500? Evidently 2009 3500 will only come with the 6.7L Cummins so anyone wanting a Hemi would have to get a 2500....................not sure why you would want a Hemi in an HD?

Squid,
Maybe the gas engine provides enough power for the needs of the buyer.
Some years ago, there was a comparison between gas and diesel owners cost. At that time you would need to drive at least 100k miles to break even on cost based on mpg and cost difference between gas and diesel.

Once the diesel makers here start to incorporate the direct injection and urea injection, then they will start to act more like gas engines. Mercedes Benz has their Bluetec series engines and VW is also now selling a common rail direct injection diesel Jetta. These new engines are acting and sounding more like gas engines. Maybe US makers are doing the same, I just haven't heard about them.
