The Altima Hybrid is now available in limited areas of the Nation for purchase.

I know the Hybrid Technology has been leased from Toyota and I know the Altima uses a larger gas engine and a smaller electric motor and battery pack.

Anyone have any first hand knowledge about the car that they can pass along?

The reason I ask, is my brother is interested in purchasing one.

Sorry Red these things are so new that not many people actually have ever driven one let alone owned one.

Since nearly all car makers have mutiple hybrid models, I would say it is catching on....slowly, but it is. If prices of the hybrids continue to decrease, they will catch on at a quicker pace. Just by looking around, you see more and more on the road, that's a small indication already.
