Post Clug Titan.org....sold

Well, the world of Nissan Titan forums is undergoing continued consolidation.

Josh, owner of CT has sold it and the other three sites he founded to a large group called AutoForums.com, if I recall correctly. TT has already been gobbled up into that group as well.

According to all the chat, admins, mods, etc all to remain the same and operate the same.

Time will tell if this turns out to be a beneficial move.

I doubt there will be any difference in the Titan forum world....doubt there will be any consolidation. CT and TT are just too different in the way they operate and the way their members act, their "code of conduct"

SDTitan1, let me clarify: I meant consolidation of ownership. Not that the various communities in the Titan world would become one giant amorphous entity. As I mentioned, the admins, mods, etc would remain in place.

All comments from Josh indicate that only some software tweaks and perhaps access to larger group buys would result.

All in all, it is an interesting event. Thankfully ekool will remain at TT and not migrate to other forums.

Once again, I want to thank Squid for this site, it is a refreshing breeze in the forum world.

You bet and I'm not ever going to sell. I'm not interested in making a lot of $$$$ which is all that this Auto Forum group is about. I'll continue building and running forums for people I know that buy other vehicles and want a home/Forum other then the forums that they offer. Competition is good.
