OUCH! That should spur them to make a deal with Nissan tho'. Although I wonder if Nissan still wants the deal since the news is out.

Isn't Ford in the same situation? They're trying to unload Jaguar and Rover. Jaguar I remember reading somewhere is sucking the life out of them just to stay afloat.

yup, i read that same article. Ford and Dodge are in serious financial trouble. they're like that corn niblet in a toilet just avoiding being completely flushed down the drain, but in the toilet nontheless. General Motors isn't far behind either. perhaps all makes of cars in the near future will be Toyota.

oh, how true. i'm sure toyota is ahead of the game through either building plants in guanzhou, china or moving into existing plants and building their vehicles there already. even with chrysler outsourcing many of their parts, engines, transmissions from outside countries like mexico. its amazing how much in the red they are.
