How very true! I don't believe in brand bashing and talking smack, but I very vividly remember the cars put out by ALL of the brands during that time. I can't think of one I would have today........ LOL

Post Script: I believe that the internet and clubs like this one help to force the manufacturers to address their problems. Information exchange is a very powerful tool.

No doubt about it, the old days of buying what your daddy drives are just about over because daddy gets on the internet and researches the vehicle like Ol' coot wrote on sites like this. So it may be a Titan this time around and a Ford Fusion tomorrow like SteveS is looking at or the Dodge I bought. No manufacturer produces the best of every type of vehicle and luckily we can now get the best bang for the buck from the comfort of our living room. Heck, the 1 ton HD I just bought was a done deal by Email so the total time I spent at the dealership was 45 minutes.

I bought my Titan thru' Cars Direct, saved some $$, and like Squid said only about 30 minutes at the dealership......... Yesssss!
