Well the site says the document can't be found but I have to admit that 30% does sound a little steep to me. So what's the reasoning given for the mark up?

That does seem awfully steep. I know that the loonie is almost at parity with the dollar, so that wouldn't affect anything. Can't be transportation..... Tariffs? Wouldn't think so as a lot of the autos are made in Canada..... Could it be just good "old fashioned gouging"?

Most domestics are made up there anyway?!

Basically, our dollars are equal now. The Titan is made in the states, and is imported duty free because of free trade.

What is the starting price of that in the states?? The problem is with our dollar gaining 20 to 30% over the last couple of years, Nissan canada has been able to bring trucks up 20-30% cheaper and they haven't dropped their prices once since I bought my truck in 2004 - they have increased them.

YES the only word is GOUGE!! hat is why you won't see me buying another Nissan Titan!

The lawsuit is for $2 bill and targets Nissan, Honda, GM and another import.

Hope they win the lawsuit - this is one of those non-frivolous (spelling?) ones!

The lawsuit is also going after the car companies for not having transferable warranties to Canada
