| Well I needed a 3/4 ton wihen I fell in love with the 04 and I was told that a 3/4 ton was coming but after 3 years I've given up all hope and can't wait any longer so it's Dodge for me. At least I'll now be able to Mod the Titan for the Queen and if Nissan ever builds a 3/4 ton I'll be the first to own one, but until then I've got a lot of stuff to do that a 1/2 ton with 100,000 miles can't so as much as i hate to I'm going to have to go buy American. LOL |

| MSRP is $42,000, invoice $37,000. The engine has a life before rebuild of 350,000 miles and MPG that beats the 04 and here in a couple years I'm buying some more land so I'll have to start dealing with those large round hay bails, stock trailers with cattle/Buffalo and a bulldozer and bobcat, etc, for my race track. I needed a 3/4 ton when I bought the 04 and I just can't wait any more. I thought the Queen might rather have a new truck which was why I was looking at the Pro-4x but today she told me she loves the 04 and won't drive a new truck even if I buy it, so I won't. |

| Looked at a Mega Cab with the 6.7L in a really pretty Rust/Brownish Red this moening and man is that thing long but it was sure nice to see a solid axle 4X4 again. $37,223, MSRP $42,000. Looks like if you've been waiting to get a 3/4 or 1 ton this is the year and I bet they would even come down another 2 or 3 grand. I'm pretty jazzed that the wait is almost over. |

| All Hail Mighty Squidster, I commend you on your selection. The dodge product has been one of the most reliable selections for someone needing a work truck for years. That of course was in part to the cummins IL6. I am excited about the new engine/transmission package as well, but leary about longevity on anything new.....see 2004Titan Owners for explanation if you wonder what this meant. LOL I too have been waiting for the newer version. While I think personally the new megacab looks as good as a tundra, to each his own. I would have to have the long bed which means the quadcab. If it helps, my friend recently bought his for about $ 35 after the bickering. We pretty much built one online, and clled all the dealers who showed it in stock. Told them the price, and only went to one dealership. Best of Luck to you, and I might join you on your new CTD forum soon.
