What next, a half track? | Hey therr Squista, the 3/4 ton is all you will need. The one ton version has a bit stiffer ride is all. There is only a 200lb +or- differnce in overall towing capacity. We use 3/4tons with stake beds on them for our hotshot trucks, and they pull gooseneck trailers with up 18,000lbs on the boards no problems.
