I often ride my MC into town, just puttering around. Running errands at nearly 40MPG instead of running those same errands in my Titan at 14MPG. Just a matter of economics.

Here is an electric MC that is suited to the around town, but not freeway use. Its a little pricey, but, if mass produced, it would surely come in at a cheaper price point.

Add a nice utility rack or a set of light weight cloth saddle bags and this would be great.

Nice. They just need to get the top speed up for them to be practical for many commuters. Good start though and I can envision cities where cars must park outside the city's core, and those or other electric vehicles, such as three wheelers are all that are allowed ... they could be rentals owned by the city or a vendor.

In my case, between my home and downtown, the maximum speed is 35mph. Also it has enough "over capacity" in top speed to be safe, and more range than I need also as I only live 4 miles outside the downtown area.
