Well boys....

I jumped ship...sort of. I traded the FJ for a new 07 Double Cab SR5,TRD off road, 4x4, 5.7 V-8....with a few extras such as a TRD dual exhaust, cold kit, bed liner, power heated mirrors, captains seats. The TRD package gives the ride an off road tuned suspension and the Bilstein shocks. All I can say is WOW. Oh and did I mention its RED????

As for price.....sticker was $35,803. The sticker on my FJ was 34,000. I paid around $27,500 for it. I drove and beat it up for 2 months and traded it for the Tundra for the same payment with the extended warranty. Havent looked to see what the bottom line was...because the payment and term were the determining factors on my purchase. I ended up getting $1,000 loyalty trade and 2.9% intrest. My payment was actually cheaper until I added the Platnium Extended Warranty. I feel I made an educated choice and JT is loving his new ride.

Would I rather drive the Tundra over the Titan.....

Second ride today I picked up the Titan keys.....its a hard choice! I just love the 9" of lift on that bad boy! Oh and I can't get the Tundra muddy. This Tundra wont seel mud. EVER!!! It is way too pretty! The Tundra hauls ass....and The Titan does too....I love them both!

It will be a tough choice when my Titan is paid off in 2010. I get a car allowance which is tax free if the car/truck is less than 5 calendar years old. So i buy something new every 5 years. Granted a lot can change between now and then. I love my Titan still, favorite vehicle I have owned outside the $300 1968 Cutlass I drove for 7 years and sold for $300.

Oh and nice choice CD'M2!!

(At least for your truck I hope you don't treat it like that ... it's like keeping a cat inside just so statistically they will live a couple of years more).

Please don't be a wuzz, you know you are curious on how it will compare to your Titan in the thick stuff.
[Wait until it's well broken in though, i.e. 2x or 3x recommended].

Don't forget a good bye thread at Squids FJ forum. Hey I'll ban you over there afterwards, (if you don't mind). I've always wanted to ban a Chick ... j/k

haha, leave it to Hoolie to really say what everyone is thinking!! kidding........

congrats chick, definitely an upgrade over an FJ but since you already had a Titan in the family, the FJ might've been the perfect complement

...........slowly, very slowy but surely, the Tundra is starting to look ok to me.......yeah, very slowly, still looks a little funny.....

I knew you all would think it was the best looking truck out there. lol...

I still perfer the looks of the Titan over the Tundra. But I have to say.....amazing power that little Tundra has. 20 miles left before I can really streach her legs.......

I'll report back when I trash the rugged trails this week.
