Heat gun

My cheap-o harbor freight heat gun just gave up the ghost while I was trying to dry some paint. I paid $12 for it over a year ago. Think it's worth it to get a more expensive one, or just another of the same?

I guess if you don't mind going and buying a new one every year.

I bought a Bosch because I use it all the time for everything from heat shrink to paint removal.

I've got a Clairol 2100 "heat gun" that's worked for years ..... but all I ever use it for is drying my hair.

Is that how you keep your hair so nicely coifed and poofed? I thought blow dryed hair for men went out with pink blazers, 5o'clock shadow, and the yugo?

hey, I think the 5 o'clock shadow still rocks! ....maybe my lazy a$$ just doesn't like to shave often....

...but I'd just do the $12 heat gun every year if it's fulfilling your needs during that year....

I need to invest in a heat gun... I'm tired of my tires rubbing against the wheel well plastic; so I need to see if I can push that back.

You can start by just doing the pinch weld mod. On CT, RedTitanLE (RedTitanSE)'s old truck we just did the pinch weld mod, we didn't heat the liners up at all.
