I wonder how much the repairs will cost??

Currently at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA for repairs. The plan is to cut the damaged part off and the similar bow section from another and weld them together.

That is just as bad as someone yesterday hitting the tail section of a T-38.
Someone workers were towing the tail section back to the flight line and someone drove toward them. The workers tried to wave them off but the car driving thought they were just saying "HI". It did about $175k to the tail section and just ripped the roof and door off the car. Hopefully we have pictures today.

That second picture Rob posted of the Helo dropping the flares reminds me of the the 4th of July.
Me and 2 buddies are in Iraq and we were in a dirt field behind our shop hitting baseballs and 2 cobras flew over us and dropped their flares. it was like having our own personal fireworks show.
