Pulled Over

....ok, now I'm targeted on the Houston Toll Roads. I got pulled over this morning on my way to work; going 70 in a 55 (Construction Zone). At first the Officer was kind of a pr!ck, but I didn't lose my cool... The "yes sir", and the "you're right" kicked instantly. I basically lost my backbone, and agreed to everything the Officer had to say. I was convinced that I was getting a ticket... So, he went back to his car, sat for awhile, and then came back, saying that I was very cooperative and that he was just going to let me go with a warning (I guess that's the key, b/c that's twice now I've been let go with a warning - different road tho). Anywho, now I have to watch my damn speed.... and we all now how easy it is to get our Titan's up to 70mph w/o noticing it.

I don't know about Texas but here the fine is double in a construction zone so I'd say a little butt kissing was the right way to go about it. I would have, hell I would have followed him home just to make sure I hadn't missed a spot.

The fine is "double" in a construction zone here in TX as well. Your attitude has alot to do with what happen afterward once pulled over.

Yeah, 'being polite, and not having a backbone' is pretty much something that automatically kicks in for me if I'm pulled over... I usually watch it if I'm in a construction zone, b/c it's not cool to speed in them. But, when everybody else is going 70, it's hard not do it myself. Our Titan's are just too powerful I guess...

UHHHHHHHHHHH.......... on the right hand side of the steering wheel are 3 little buttons. These 3 little buttons control this new fangled technology called cruise control. With cruise control you can select a speed and the truck will maintain that speed with no further input from the driver. Cool huh?

I've even included the instructions.

Yes i know you owe me one now, I'll be watching my 6.

I just got pulled over on Sunday at 1:30 in the morning. Drove up to boulder (about a 30 min. drive) to pick up a drunk buddy of mine. Was doing 79 in a 55 on the way back. Cop was at the bottom of a very long grade and radar gunned me. Pulled me over, asked why I was going so fast. I said coz its 1.30 in the mornign, no one is out, and I'm tired, and I just came down a long grade....simple physics there....I had been going about 70 at the top of the grade. He ended up writing me the ticket for the whole amount and said He was being nice that he didn't take me to jail. 6 points, or I can pay 116.60 and ge tit knocked down to 4 points.

hahahahaha nice!

Gentlemen, they're not all out to get you. It's just a job and 1/2 of them would much rather be hunting or driving Titans. If you were going 15 over the limit in a const. zone, you deserve hold one. It's not loosing a back bone to be polite...it's just respectful and believe me....it's appreciated.
