The rain held off long enough to get the window on the North side installed this weekend, allowing me to finish installing the Purlons (nailing strips) for the siding. I wasn't going to put a window in because it is on the North side but after spray painting a window on the side and studying it for a couple of weeks I decide what the heck, and went and got the most efficient Pella window they make.
Hopefully (Depending on the rain) I'll be able to get the siding and roof on this week. Since I started this project the weather has been wacked and it's taken me 3 times as long as it should have to get the work done on the outside but I'm almost there.

Looking good. If you are concerned about the heat loss from the window, take a piece of fiberglass batt, sew it inside a stout fabric "pillow case" and attach velcro. So when the North starts getting too cold, attach the blanket. Come summer/spring time, remove and enjoy the air flow.

Had a pretty good weekend with no rain so I got the window sealed up both inside and out, installed 4 temporary T8 lights I got at Lowe's, reattached the original corrugated siding where I had to remove studs to frame the window in and got started on the siding. It's suppose to rain Monday and Tuesday but I hope to have the north side and the roof done by the end off this coming weekend and be laying the floor by the 4th of July but I have to dig a hole first for the sewer line I plan to run out to the septic tank for my Bathroom. (I'm going to buy a porthole for the bathroom so I can honestly say I finally have a pot to pee in and a port hole to throw it out of.)

When I get to the top with the siding I'll shut off the power and disconnect the power line going inside to the breaker box and install the new box I bought.

Good progress considering your weather. When does your rainy season usually end? It's been bone dry and in the 90s and low 100s here for the last week.
