Just got home from Colorado with the new addition to the stable. I went there to buy the 990R but made the mistake of taking the Queen and even though she doesn't ride this is the one she wants to see my on so what's a guy to do?







I have a long list of mods that includes everything from power distribution, GPS, lighting, panniers, heated grips, etc, that should keep me busy over the winter.

Looks like you have plenty of room to ride too, judging by all that open area in the background.

I like the KTM but would never buy one. I'm inseam challenged and I can't always be sure there would be a stump around so I could get in the saddle

Red ya ain't kidding about the height. I have a 32 inch inseam and am on my toes on this bike. The Queen may have done me a big favor since the ground clearance on the R is 2 more inches and a lot of Kansas is tree challanged.


I got it wrestled it out of the truck this afternoon and took it for a quick muddy ride down my ditch and WOW! Nothing like a 1000cc V twin dirt bike to make you giggle like a school girl.

Got her all checked out and the rear pegs removed (It ride solo so why haul around the extra weight?) and can't wait until tomorrow for her break in trip.
