So I didn't do anything to the Titan except replace the battery but I did do some modding

Here's what I've done to the Aprilia RSV4 this Summer.

She's just about ready for Track Body work, TTX rear shock and taken off the street for good.

I think the engine is ready for the first track day this spring and then of coarse will come the brakes and suspension tweaking but you're never ever really done with these bikes (Thank you Lord!)

I gotta get motivated, I haven't worked on my stuff much lately.

Road racing bikes, good choice, I'm partial to the road racing bikes & Harleys ....

I just don't have the guts to ride a bike on todays streets.

Squid, ole buddy, I know weight is a major factor in speed and handling. So you might look into using a Lithium-Ion battery for race days. Here is a site and the brand was advertised in Cycle-World:
