It's sad how fickle Mother Nature has been. Here in Virginia we nearly drowned and parts are still under water and yet the West, like Texas, are on fire from drought conditions.

Stay safe everyone!

But nice !

Last 2 mornings have been notably cooler, nice enough to open doors & windows for a few early morning hours.

Fall is finally here (80ºF).

Now it's time to get some stuff done outside before winter hits. If it wasn't for the Queen, paid off house and 6 dogs I'd leave this god forsaken place.

Back in Wash State now. Temps in my area are upper 60's to upper 70's as the day wears on. Little precip predicted over the coming week. Of course I still need to mow the front weed patch.

Probably not since the cities make everyone water now adays, but sadly this same requirement has dried up a lot of peoples wells.

Luckily for the Queen and I we have an underground stream under our house not that it can't be depleted by others with little to no common sense.
