Snow today here in the Washington lowlands. Massive Tornadoes across the Midwest and South. Drenching rains. Floods. What's next? Locusts?

April is expected to be the coldest on record ever here. Avalanche control is needed in the mountain passes and extensive rain down lower. Floods are just a few raindrops away.

I've just been watching the tremendous tornadoes on TV.

Did anyone hear of a UFO weather machine landing somewhere?

I hope you all are inside warm and dry.

Make you wonder don't it Red. We managed to make it through that storms. Watched a 1/2 mile wide tornado come through work Wednesday afternoon. Missed my workplace by about 1 mile. Just had power come on today. Can't wait to hit that warm shower. Thankful that I have a home and a warm shower. Several small towns around our area are wiped clean off the map. Alabama closing in on around 250+ deaths I'm thinking. We ended up having 14 deaths in my county.

While I know that the weather patterns I've experienced are NOTHING compared with those in other parts of the country; still, they are abnormal.

We've just had an April that was the coldest on record ever for Western Washington. Ever. I'm sure that there will be other records broken before the year is over. We are already 4in of rain over the yearly average and the year is only a quarter gone.

The tornadoes experienced across the Midwest and South are just staggering. The loss of life is tragic, and sadly its not over yet.
My best wishes and hopes to all who are affected by these terrible weather patterns.

Went riding today and it was 47F. It's so strange to watch all the Storms blow up to the east of us since this is Tornado Alley so I know first hand the death and destruction that Tornado's cause. Be safe!
