Been Quite a Couple of Weeks

Man! It's been quite a couple of weeks. First I had an appointment to have another stent inserted in an artery, which didn't go as planned, my computer died, (repaired and returned under warranty after a week), and I have to take my 08 into the shop for the brake and gas tank sending unit recall and the 05 Titan has had it's first issue in 75-80k of hard use. The stitching in the seat seam came apart, so that will have to be fixed. Oh, and the final straw....... I was out of coffee this morning!

OOH I've been there...or at least as far as the stents go. Back in '92 I went into the University of Washington Medical Center to have a stent inserted. So there I am laying on the table and the first of two stents has been placed. So he went to place the second and check its placement on the XRay machine. Then they started looking on the floor, in the trash can, under all the surgical drapes....About this time I called the doctor over and said "Isn't it about time you tell me what the heck is going on?" Turns out one stent was missing. They used all sorts of special gear and finally found that it wasn't in me. So they put in another stent. They finally determined the catheter must have been packaged without the stent. Gotta tense there for a few minutes.
I hope when you finally get it installed, you don't have that level of excitement.
Boy, running out of coffee must have really hurt!
