When I was a youngin', the winning team of the Superbowl would dump the contents of their water jug on their coach, suprising him and the television audiance .... I've noticed for quite some time now that it has become customary for the coach to get dumped on at every win of every regular game.....are we headed towards the coach geting dumped on after every play? ..... is it suppose to still be a suprise when it happens? .... I don't think I get the jest of it all....can anybody enlighten me on where my thinkin' went a-skew?

This act started occurring after every game when the coaches union requested the gator-ade bath as a possible replacement for the long standing tradition of running over the coach's gas cap. It saved a significant amount of money which was then spent on too-small polyester shorts.

I thought it was Gatorade, not water.
