Word is out that TitanSpot has closed. Possible sale in the works, but no firm information other than the owner said it was time to close and thanks for the memories.

I too hate to see this. I had heard it was doing well with new members and sponsors so I'm surprised, but I'm sure it's for the best for him because these things are very time consuming to run which is something that most people never think about.

I received some communications from a few folks over there. Someone may step up and buy the site, but that someone is on vacation at the moment.

It's not that, I built this site for us and love working on it. It's that anyone would entertain the thought of paying$$$$ for the Spot? Face it, after almost 3 years there hasn't and won't be much growth there. There are 2 major players, both owned by the same group now and the rest of us are small sites for the hardcore/long term owners and we'll always be small.

TTZ gets lots of new members, but they finally read some thread with a link to one of those other two sites and you never see them again. It's a fact.............nothing more and nothing less and If Lem wouldn't have stop taking care of NTF this site wouldn't be here.

But it is, and it'll be here for a very long time just like the 04 and who knows maybe as I'm posting about the Mid Travel install we'll pick up one or two more hardcore/longterm Titan owners? Probably not...........
