I was hoping Edwards (where I work) was going to have an Airshow this year but it looks like I will have to drive down to Mirmar.

the F22 is amazing! stealth, speed, range, maneuverability... it has it all rolled into one. the ability to fly a complete mission at mach 1.5 without once having to touch its afterburners is remarkable. the fact it shows up the size of a coke can on a radar screen, shows just how stealthy it is, as where an F18 hornet shows up the size of a door. the list goes on and on, just how kick ass this fighter is... however UCAVs (unmanned combat aerial vehicles) like the predator/x45 is the future for us. watch that at an airshow and you'll sh!t purple twinkies at what it can do.

They have yet to fly a UAV at an airshow so far. I believe because it is unmanned and not really designed to do the fancy manuevers. We have a few around this way and I try and watch them take off as much as I can. They usually ask for both ends of the runway to be cleared for saftey reasons.

the x45 is designed for fancy manuevers however they are just extremely cautious with them. combat manuevers are kept top secret, but it is highly capable.

Technology is pretty awesome, just hook a 360 up to those unmanned and turn em loose. Its pretty obvious which country has the most practice. But all joking aside, it is an interesting direction when it becomes easier and easier to attack one another without direct contact.
