I've read a few things like this now, and it always leaves me with a sense of almost dumbfounded confusion. For one I could never picture not having the freedoms we enjoy in this country. I am confused as to how many of those in the middle eastern countries can long for freedom, yet still live under oppressive rule. I understand they do not desire to live like we do, but can't get it through my thick skull why so many submit to a rule that is seemingly so unbearable. (Unbearable at least by a highly privileged American mindset)

I almost hate to mention the word Religion because it is such a touchy subject by so many folks. I for one can take it or leave it; and, mostly leave it.

Our earliest founding fathers (and mothers) left England to seek religious freedom. But their religion (we called them the Puritans) was nothing to brag about. Their treatment of suspected witches was no less brutal than in the Muslim world.

Ever wonder why there are so many different religious groups and so many different faiths? All who claim that the center of their religion is "one God." In my opinion, they come about because mankind wandered around the world and settled upon a religion that best fit his/her idea of the way things should be.

Well before I inflame the site, I'll just stop.

Valentine's Day is celebrated on February 14. It is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other; sending Valentine's cards, or gifting candy. It is very common to present flowers on Valentine's Day. Anyway my late Happy Valentine's Day to all lovers of this forum.

Yeah I think most of us know what and when valentines is.
