DETROIT -- Nissan Motor Co. executives say the company still sees promise in the large-pickup market despite a less-than-stellar start for its Titan.

Almost three years after its launch, Nissan's first entry in the full-size truck market is struggling to gain traction. Through August of this year, Nissan had sold about 50,000 Titans in the U.S., well behind the half-million F-Series trucks sold by leader Ford Motor Co.

i don't think Nissan is exactly concerned about Ford selling a half-million F-series trucks that they had to sell for hardly a gain by throwing incentives after incentives at their buyers, add to that the fact that a majority of those F-series sold were to fleet sales or to those who plan on thrashing their vehicles for the sole purpose of work. also, remember that included in the sales figures are the F-series trucks that are completely stripped down!

so with all these trucks Ford has sold why is it that they're shutting down factories and laying off hard-working Americans? you sell sh!tty @ss products for peanuts and someone's head is gonna roll... Ford = , except that new Shelby 500hp Mustang they have out! that's sweet!!
