My only concern with an engine like that is the mechanical complexity of the system. Can you imagine what it would cost if one of the turbos let fly?
I might consider one of them further down the road, if they work out. It's a HUGE leap from the testing phase to life in the real world where we all live.
On the other hand, neither of my Titans have had any issues in over a total of 9 "owner years", so why switch?

The Altima was only 5th and that was an improvement over last month.
The man reason the F150 is the top seller is because of there fleet sales. not trying to argue just stating a fact. They know how to sell trucks and I will not argue with that but then again just about everyone on here has a titan and they picked that truck over an f150 for some reason. And comparing company that has made truck for YEARS to one that has made a full size truck for 6 years isnt really fair. Im sure once they get the kinks worked out of the engine it might be a good one but I guess only time will tell. Oh and im glad they are putting a diesel in the f150 cause hopefully others will fallow

Your right, Ford has been selling fullsize trucks alonnnng time, their good at it. I also agree that you can't really compare the F150 to the Titan, only the test of time will tell how well the titan holds up. After the Titan has a couple of decades & a stable history under its belt then a fair comparison can be made...imo

riverrat, i was going to echo the same thing. its not that they're particularly good at it, its because they're fleet sales are incredible. cheap, basic F150s by the dozens. because they're stripped down, cheap versions that gets counted as an F150 sale. ya.. sure they sell a lot of them...
