| 2010 Nissan Titan Recall Likely. Here's what Automotive news is saying. NASHVILLE -- Nissan North America expects to recall 48,700 U.S.-built light trucks this week to fix a suspension part that may not have been welded properly. The recall, which was still under discussion with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration late Friday afternoon, would involve some but not all 2010 Nissan Armadas, Frontiers, Titans, Pathfinders and Xterras and Infiniti QX56 models, said Nissan spokesman Colin Price. The problem concerns a lower suspension control link that might not have been welded correctly, Price said. Under some conditions, a bushing collar could crack as a result. Nissan does not know of any accidents as a result of the problem. Read more: http://www.autonews.com/apps/pbcs.dl...#ixzz0ojdtGfNi |

| I need to go out to the rig and check the mfg date on the truck. I'm thinking it was Dec. 09. But with a suspension issue, and me driving on rough roads 7 days a week, I kinda hope the truck falls under the recall. Heck I still have to get mine in for the brake pedal pin recall from March. Maybe I can schedule them both the same day.

| Well I took mine by the dealership to have the brake pedal pin looked at and I went ahead and had the service manager to run my VIN and see if I would be affected by the suspension recall, and no dice. Guess that's good since I've been reading about alot of folks getting ticked off having to wait so long on parts to come in.

| The Nissan Titan 2010 is available as a crew or king cab, and in four trims. The base trim is the XE trim, the SE trim offers some additional convenience features, while the LE trim offers more luxury features. The PRO-4X trim is built for off-road performance. The Titan is available with either a short or long bed. The only available engine is a 5.6 liter V8. For 2010, little has changed on the Titan, though Nissan has added standard side-curtain airbags and traction control. |
