| Well this might fix what I have always thought to be an anomaly. I'd drive until the warning light would come on, fill it soon thereafter and have the tank only take 19 or 20 gallons. I always treated it like an old fashioned motorcycle reserve. I wonder what other "fixes" are lurking in the OEMs deck of cards? Red

| Letters I got an eMail from my service manager at my dealer. He says the letters about the R1010 recall were going out today. Its always nice that the dealership is willing and takes the time to keep owners informed. Red

| I have always known my 08 had a strange problem with the tank sending unit. It never has been linear. The gauge says full for a very long time, then seems to drop like a rock until you hit ~1/2, seems to slow then drops like a rock again until ~1/4 tank. Additionally, it will read one thing, then if you shut the truck off, then restart it after an hour, the tank reading will be different. Never ran out of gas tho |
