Thumbs up Great Service Department

I have to once again cite the praise of my service department at Advantage Nissan of Bremerton, Washington.

Yesterday, I decided to go in for an oil change and have the tires rotated. During the tire rotation, the tech discovered that the driver's side rear axle seal was leaking. They asked if I had time to change it while it was on the rack. I did.

When I checked out, after the services had been performed I had a chance to speak with the service manager. He said they had found over the years that if they only replaced one, the other was sure to leak in a few weeks. He also said, the seals didn't last as long if the bearings weren't replaced too. So they replaced both seals, both bearings and the "C" clips. I'm not sure I would have done this if it would have cost me cash out of my pocket.

Of course, because I had the extended maintenance plan, it cost me nothing out of pocket. I've one more major service to be performed before the plan expires on 4/13.

So, once again, my service guys treated me well.

That's great! You don't find that type of service and attention to detail very often.

I think Car lots have figured out the party is really over so Service is #1 once again.

My dealer has been like this since day one. I also remember that my Honda dealer was like this as well.

I wonder if it is a Northwest kinda thing?
